Tuesday Trainer

22 Feb

lindsayslist.co-tuesday_trainer Hey guys! So glad you all liked the butt blasting workout on monday! Today I’ll be jet-setting off interstate to visit friends and have one last break before the craziness of university starts again.  I’ve got my bags packed, healthy snacks for the flight, and of course my favourite gossip mags to keep me entertained.

But I haven’t forgotten about you!!! For another inspiring workout head over to Lindsay’s List for her ‘Welcome to the Jungle Workout’.  This week’s theme features animalistic moves, like my donkey kick, and will definitely get you fit in a flash.

What are your essential items when you travel? Favourite books? Music?
Do you pack healthy travel snacks? What are your best picks?

I love reading on vacations since I don’t normally have time to do it during the school semester thanks to all the textbook reading I have to do. I also can’t go anywhere without my phone/ipod.

I definitely bring at least one book, depending on how long the flight is, my iPod, and sometimes a deck of cards–I get super restless! As for snacks, I usually try to bring bars–such as fiber one, special k, luna bars. They’re durable and you can keep them in your purse even once you hit your destination for when you get hungry later. Apples are great too (they’re the official ‘fast food’). I sometimes even bring cook books, such as Cooking Light, which has well over a 100 recipes to browse through (however, I usually start to get hungry reading through). Hope you have a fun trip!!
